Today was the first session of the Self Esteem & Personal Care Series. To be honest, I was a little nervous before starting the class. This has been in the works for about a year and to have it finally here, was a rush. We ended up having close to 10 participants plus their support staff. This session was all about Self Esteem. We started off with a cute video, We">www.youtube.com/watch?v=Dtk5qs3HvlIWe discussed negative self talk and how that can halt our dreams. One woman raised her hand and asked me,"What do you do if you hate yourself?" She had been ...

If you do, I could use your help!I am excited to be launching a new series of classes at the Waisman Center.
I cannot even begin to put into words what NYFW was like. It was a dream that I have had since well...forever! I tweeted in detail of every exciting thing that was happening. I can just say, it is like what you see on t.v. but bigger and better! The energy in the tents was unlike anything I've ever felt. To have that many people work together to create the art which is over in a few minutes... I could cry right now. I have goosebumps just remembering the amazingness. To sum NYFW up in a few lines...Found the best ...

With only a few days until the new year, I am reinstating my resolution that I make every year...keep record of what's happening, journal, or write a blog. Oh, and I am still completely devastated that my dad threw away his diaries recently. He had kept them everyday, no fail, for 50+ years! And now they are gone. I ...

I am working on my collection for the next Fashion Fridays show. I am very inspired by my concept. Every time I do a show or a shoot, I challenge myself to push beyond. Create beauty in the unexpected. Move the viewer to expand their level of what's possible. There are no accidents. I tend to work in a very similar manner...be it for shoots, shows, or in the salon. I look at the time I have to work. The shortest being 45min (hair cut) to longest being a month(fashion show or shoot)I look at and talk with the model ...
